1. Program evaluation by the residency teaching program. Scale is 1 to 5. Goal is the collective average of 4.2 out of 5. This target is evaluated annually during quarter 2 of the STH fiscal year. Attainment will result in physician being paid an additional $12.50 per hour for each hour worked during quarter 1 and 2 of the STH fiscal year.
2. Saint Thomas Midtown Nursery and OB Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and System’s (HCAHPS) “Doctors” Overall Rating measure for the applicable six month period. Attainment of Benchmark (90th percentile) for the unit score will result in physician being paid an additional $6.25 per hour for each hour worked during the applicable six month period. This target is evaluated semi-annually.
3. The program satisfaction poll administered by Hospital results in a 8.3 of 10 rating for the physician. This target is evaluated annually during quarter 4 of the fiscal year. Attainment will result in physician being paid an additional $12.50 per hour for each hour worked during quarter 3 and 4 of the STH fiscal year.
4. Hospital’s Joint Commission PC-02 measure is less than or equal to 23.9% (Caesarean rate in Nulliparous, Term, Singleton, Vertex pregnancies). This target is evaluated semi-annually. Attainment will result in physician being paid an additional $6.25 per hour for each hour worked during the applicable six month period.
